Information overload? New tools to develop and use information more effectively in evaluation (04) [EN]

———CANCELLED———
Bryn Sadownik, Vancity Community Foundation

May 2, 2010, 9:00am - 4:00pm - Intermediate to advanced - 50 seats

This session will present practical solutions and tools to challenges in gathering, managing and effectively using information. It is grounded in the real experience of social and environmental community organizations and their funders who were part of the Demonstrating Value Initiative (www.demonstratingvalue.org), an innovative project to develop tools and capacity in this area. In attending this interactive session, evaluation professionals will come away with an understanding of how to help organizations better develop and use information in an evaluation, and to tie this in with other data gathering processes in the organization.
